Our service charges

• Certify true copy (of an original hard copy document): HK$100 per copy 

• Certify true copy of an electronic document: HK$500 per copy

• Add specific words to the certified copy:  additional fee HK$200 per copy

• Fill out the form: HK$300 per form

 

💡 Note: Fees for declarations, oaths/affirmations, or other bespoke requirements are negotiable.

Standard Certification Wording & Details
Unless otherwise specified, our standard certified copy will include the following wording:

"I certify that this document is a true and complete copy of its original or a properly certified copy of its original."

 

By default, each certified copy will contain the lawyer's signature, the date, lawyer's name, the law firm's name, and our official certification stamp. Upon request, we can also include the law firm's address, and telephone number.

Important Notes & Fee Policies

1. Page Count & Signature Fees

• Standard Fee: The base fee covers the certification and signature on the first page only.

• Multi-page Documents: An additional HK$100 will be charged if a single document exceeds 10 pages.

• Per-Page Signatures: If you require the lawyer’s signature on every page of the document, the fee will be calculated at HK$100 per signature.

2. Requirements for Original Hard Copies
To certify a document, our lawyer must physically inspect the original paper version to verify that the copies are identical. 

• If your documents (such as bank statements) are only available online, please visit the issuing institution or bank first.

• Most institutions can print the statements and stamp them with their official seal. We can readily certify those stamped versions.

3. Requirements for Electronic Documents (e-Certificates)
For the certification of official electronic documents, clients must log into the institution's official portal in the presence of our lawyer.

 

The certified copy will include the following mandatory endorsement:

"I certify that this document was downloaded and printed directly from the official online portal of [Institution] in my presence, following a live login witnessed by me on [Date]."
